Day 1: Nairobi - Hell’s Gate National Park - Naivasha
After breakfast, make yourself ready, and your 2 Days Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha Safari guide will pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi. He will brief you about the trip and embark on a 1- to 2-hour road trip to Hell’s Gate National Park.
You will stop at a Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy breath-taking views of stunning nature at its largest. Your guide will take you for a hot lunch to fortify yourself for the upcoming adventure – a bike ride in the thrilling Hell’s Gate National Park.
Once at the park, you can choose to have a game drive in a safari vehicle or just ride bikes in the park. Cycling up to 7 kilometres in the park without rest is an impressive excursion. You will also go on a walking safari and enjoy scenic views of the gorge. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, unusual flora, and many species of birds. It is one of the only two Kenyan parks where climbing, walking, and biking are allowed.
During your adventures, you will see animals like bushbucks, dikdiks, gazelles, gnus, hartebeests, impalas, klipspringers, buffaloes, hyraxes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, mongooses, baboons, monkeys, and porcupines, among others.

Day 2: From Naivasha to Nairobi
After a great breakfast, you will visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary on a boat ride. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary. You may access it by road through the “Horse Riding Complex.”
A wide variety of animals, bird species, and flora live quite freely and happily out here since there are no predators. This popular spot offers excellent views of wildlife like giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, Kongoni, and impalas in their natural habitat. It is a popular birder’s haven, with over 200 species recorded. Pods of hippos are also notable and easily spotted from the island.
Apart from the inhabitants of the island, views of the lake, the shores of blooming flowers, and the peaks of the Great Rift are quite unparalleled. After your amazing two-day trip, you will return to Nairobi in the evening.
