3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a scenic road trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll stop at the equator to take photos and take a lunch break in Mbarara town, and you will arrive later in the afternoon at the Bush Lodge. From here, you will enjoy stunningly beautiful views over the Kazinga Channel.
In the evening hours, you will go explore Lake Katwe, a crater where salt mining is carried out. You will watch fishermen from the nearby village sail out to fish.

Day 2: Game drives and boat cruise.
After a sumptuous early morning breakfast, you will drive to Kasenyi plains for an exciting game drive. Kasenyi plains boast thousands of animals such as Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, cape buffalo, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, warthogs, and other small mammals, among others. So you will enjoy seeing a great number of them.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to Mweya Peninsular for a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. This 32 kilometre (20 mile)-long freshwater stretch has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world. You will spot animals converging at the waterside to drink, including elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and over 400 water bird species, among others. Later, retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Back to Entebbe
After breakfast, you may enjoy your last game drive or lazily pack up your baggage and check out, ready to return to Kampala or Entebbe. You will have a lunch break in Mbarara, another stop at the Equator for coffee and to purchase souvenirs, and then proceed to Kampala. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport in the evening.
