3 Days Serengeti National Park Safari Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy a sumptuous early breakfast and your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. With everyone aboard, you will embark on a scenic drive to one of Tanzania’s popular tourist destinations, Serengeti National Park.

The term Serengeti comes from the Maasai word “seringit” which means endless plains. Observing the grassland stretch out as far as your eyes can see and eventually merge with the sky at the horizon is an extremely spectacular experience. The overall land area of 14,763 Sq km puts our notion about the 240 Km drive distance to shame.

The Serengeti is also home to the glorious “Big Five.” The Impala, one of Africa’s most beautiful animals, is also another impressive sighting on this 3 days Serengeti safari. This entire ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. On arrival at your lodge, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and embark on an evening game drive.

Day 2: All Day Serengeti NP.

This legendary park is famous for its incredible population of predators, including lions and leopards. Its central portion, known as the Seronera area, is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The area features the valuable Seronera River, which provides water and attracts a variety of wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

Lion prides usually hang out here and thrive well in the Seronera region. The impressive Serengeti “Kopjes—massive boulders of granite—are easily sighted standing in a sea of grass. These features provide ample shelter for a large variety of flora and fauna. You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the day-long game drive and later end this eventful day with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your lodge.

Day 3: Back to Arusha.

By now, you must have completed most of the activities in your tour! After a quick breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti or take a hot air balloon flight above the plains, just in case you didn’t do it the day before. You can also visit a Masaai village for a cultural experience and later drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your departure flight.
