Our story started way back in 2008, when founder Nicodemus (Nick) was volunteering at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, his first time in a wildlife reserve. Nick always loved adventure, and when it came to wildlife, he couldn’t wait to have his first encounter in the wild. He always wanted to find an opportunity to visit a wildlife park. Back in those days, when a certain level of education was completed, the rest of the days were spent at home. How boring that was! Thankfully, in 2008, Nick found an opportunity to volunteer at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and that was the beginning of a new journey of adventure for him. He not only fell in love with conservation but also with traveling and working with different people from different backgrounds and experiences. He went on to complete his Business Administration program and worked with a tyre dealer company for four years before resuming what he loves most: adventure travel while discovering new skills, passions, and lifelong friends and helping others experience the rich African wild.

“Born and raised in Uganda, I have always been passionate about tourism. I love moving to new places, meeting different people, taking photos, learning about different cultures, and, of course, changing the environment and seeing beautiful scenery. So that drove me to study tourism: to always explore more and help people experience what I do and what they really love while on an African safari. I hope to meet you soon so we can explore the pearl of Africa, the land of Athosand Hills, and magical Kenya.”

Memorable sighting: Seeing the dramatic Murchison waterfall violently tumble down through a narrow gorge is sublime. Watching from the top offers a remarkable view of this centerpiece, and every time I am there, it feels like a new experience.

Memorable sighting: Seeing two male animals in the wild fight to establish territorial dominance.
